Cocktails of the Month:

Finally launched the site. Woh! What started out as a labour of love, got alittle too much like work. So guess what? It's time for a cocktail. I am a traditionalist when it come to drinking. Cocktails of the month is the page name but it probably won't change. In the next issue I think I'll get into wines or great beers of the world. But I am always up for suggestions. If you have a drink to be listed, let me know. Cheers!

History

Birth of a Cocktail

Robert C. Butt or otherwise known as "Rosebud " is credited with creating this drink in Lond Island during the 1970's; ever since, he has been the toast of the town as well as many diatribes. As Joseph Scott and Donald Bain point out in " The World's Best Bartender Guide", is that the problem with this drink is that it doesn't taste like an alcoholic drink, so I guess we can all figure out what that means. Two is the limit in most bars, some won't even make it. So tread carefully this is not a drink to be abused, in fact I am not really sure it's a drink to be drunk, but that it most certainly will do!

Best place for a Long lsland iced tea, Long Island!
